On Arda, Falathar was a good guy. Born and raised in Gondolin, his family was part of the household of the Fountain. He kept his head down, worked hard, sailed with Eärendil to Valinor, fought in the War of Wrath, died in the War of Wrath, spent his post-Mandos days pottering by the sea and hanging out with Teleri and water-Maiar.
On Órë, Falathar subscribes to the live fast, die temporarily philosophy (he hasn't thought this through). He owns a company that builds and maintains high-end yachts. On the side, he likes to build old-fashioned sailing boats. All of this is a front for his most lucrative career - that of a smuggler. If you need something gotten from A to B, below the radar, he's your man. He's got such an innocent face - how could you not trust him?
Falathar's parents are the same as before: his mother being Sindarin and his father half-Telerin, half-Noldorin. He's happy being 75% Telerin, honestly. It keeps him zen. This time round he was born by the sea, in Vinyamar. He hasn't paid any return visits to Gondolin yet. In his line of work, it pays not to be known.
